The THK Spherical Bearing model SB or model SA1 is a heavy-duty self-aligning sliding bearing. Highly resistant to impact loads, this product is most fitted to the oscillating section under slow, heavy loads. The Spherical Plain Bearing is capable of receiving a large radial load and thrust loads in both directions. Furthermore, because of its high resistance to impact loads, the Spherical Plain Bearing is optimal for low speed, heavy load rocking components such as the cylinder clevises or hinges of construction and civil-engineering machinery and the suspensions of trucks.
